Staatsoper im Schillertheater

Be guest at one of Germany´s best opera houses!

Since January 2009, thirty specialized firms with a total of eighty employees have undertaken the work of renovating the Schiller Theatre to fit it to the needs of the opera. The renovations to the Staatsoper Unter den Linden will be carried out over the course of three years beginning in June 2010, during which time the Schiller Theatre at Bismarckstraße will serve as the regular venue for the oldest opera house in Berlin.
